Robert De Niro Has Banned Trump From His Restaurant Chain Nobu

Robert De Niro has hopped on the trendy bandwagon roaming around Hollywood. He’s vowed to ban Donald Trump from all of the restaurants in is Nobu chain.

Most would assume that a perk of the job title ‘president’ is being able to go anywhere, and do anything, you’d like. That’s apparently not the case when you’re as hated a figure as he is.

Nobu restaurants feature high-end Japanese cuisine. De Niro co-owns the chain with Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa, Meir Teper, Drew Nieporent, and Richie Notar.

In the dialogue between De Niro and Daily Mail, he fully elucidated his position on the Commander in Chief. Not only would he not allow the president to dine at his own restaurants, but he walk out of any restaurant that the president was in.

“I don’t care what he likes. If he walked into a restaurant I was in – I’d walk out,”
It’s no secret that the actor doesn’t have warm feelings for Trump. In 2016 he released a heated video that contains the following:

“[Trump’s] so blatantly stupid. He’s a punk. He’s a dog. He’s a pig. He’s a con. He’s a bullshit artist.

“He’s an idiot. He’s an embarrassment. He talks about how he wants to punch people in the face, well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”

De Niro clearly doesn’t plan on pulling any punches anytime soon.
