A massive Twitter hack is currently underway that is targeting prominent members on the platform. Compromised accounts post a status asking users to send them bitcoin. The hackers promise to return double the amount sent.
Joe Biden’s tweet read “I am giving back to the community. All bitcoin sent to the address below will be sent back doubled! If you send $1000, I will send back $2000. Only doing this for 30 minutes”.
All involved accounts appear to request funds to the same bitcoin address. At current the following account appear to have been hacked.
